360 Play Basildon at Festival Leisure Park has just opened a new outdoor area full of fun activities and attractions to help keep kids entertained for even longer.

The new outdoor space is included in the normal entry price. It gives visitors the chance to play in the open air, while still having access to all the indoor activities in case of rain. And all the new activities have been designed so adults can get in on the action, too.

The new outdoor area features a large play frame with a large spiral slide, deck climbs and cargo nets. There’s a boating lake and paddle boats, a huge sandpit and a sports court with basketball hoop and space for kids to practice their football skills.360 Play Basildon

For younger children, there’s an outdoor imagination section that includes a Police Station, School House, and an Ice Cream parlour. Close to this there are seating areas so mums, dads and carers can relax with the little ones in sight.

This latest addition to the popular play centre could be a blessed relief for parents fed up with the temperamental British summertime. The option of an all-weather entertainment venue should please both keen sun-lovers and those worried about sudden showers spoiling a summer holiday treat.

“Our new outdoor area at 360 Play Basildon has proved a huge hit during its first couple of weeks of operation,” said group sales and marketing manager Billie-Jan Humphries.

“Most people want to be outdoors in the summer months whenever possible so with the new area visitors now have the option to be indoors or outdoors. And with the unpredictable British weather it now enables us to give them the best of both worlds.”

Entry costs to 360 Play Basildon:

Adults have to pay a fee to enter this soft play centre (£3) and there is a one-off registration fee per family (£5). This method of monitoring who is coming in or leaving the centre is intended to make it much safer for children.

There is no time limit on how long families are allowed to stay though, and both adults and children have unlimited use of the activities and rides. These include the climbing wall, dodgems and musical carousel.

Adults: £3.00
Children 1-3 years: £6.95
Children 4-12 years: £9.25
Children under 1 year: FREE
