Thinking about a cheeky autumn break? Right now British Airways are helping families travel for less by offering free flights for kids.

With the big kids back at school, many parents of under 5s are looking to take advantage of the cheaper term-time holidays.

Kids fly free

As part of BA’s current offer, families can pick up free return economy flights to selected destinations for children under 12.

The offer even includes the Dutch town of Billund, home of LEGOLAND® Resort, where children will receive free entry when showing a valid boarding pass.

The promotion applies to direct, one-way or return flights in economy between London Heathrow (to or from) and any of the following airports:

– Leeds Bradford (LBA)
– Newcastle (NCL)
– Inverness (INV)
– Edinburgh (EDI)
– Belfast (BHD)
– Billund, Denmark (BLL)

What are the main terms and conditions?

The offer covers single or return flights, provided there is at least one full-paying adult accompanying the children, with a maximum of 2 children per adult.

The deal runs until Tuesday October 31 from London Heathrow or from any of the selected destinations

All travel must be booked by 23:59 on Sunday October 1, meaning you still have time to book that last-minute getaway.

Other offers for BA customers

BA are running a few other deals for families who are flying via Heathrow.

As part of the British Airways Kids Fly Free Promotion, kids eat for free at Huxleys, Carluccio’s, and Gordon Ramsay Plane Food at Terminal 5.

Kids aged 15 years and under are able to travel for free on the Heathrow Express, a train service which connects central London and the airport.

Need somewhere to spend the night? Kids can stay and eat for free at participating Hilton Hotels.
