Raver Tots, the UK’s number one family rave organiser, is hosting its first ever outdoor festival at Garon Park in Southend on Sea, Essex.

Raver Tots Outdoor Festival

The event is due to be held on bank holiday Monday 27th August from 12pm-4pm. 5,000 people expected to attend the outdoor rave, which promises to be one of the biggest family events of the summer.

The Raver Tots Outdoor Festival delivers a multi-sensory experience to engage kids and parents. Multiple outdoor stages will host some of the UK’s favourite DJs – rave, old school, dance and garage – including Slipmatt, Brandon Block, Wideboys and Nicky Blackmarket.

Whilst the tunes will be huge, the organisers are assuring parents that the music will always be kept at safe noise levels for little ears. Every event is fully risk assessed by a NEBOSH Health and Safety professional.

Of course, no self-respecting family rave would be complete without plenty to keep the kids entertained. Raver Tots will be putting on lots for children, including free funfair rides, huge inflatables, giant parachute games, glowsticks, face painting, soft play and arts & crafts areas. There will also be a range of delicious hot and cold food, ice creams and refreshments to buy on the day.

There will be areas for babies, toddlers and young kids but with no segmentation to make life easier for those adults juggling kids of various ages.

Guests can expect huge confetti and CO2 blasts, creative décor, multi-screens, dancers and pyro lighting.

Founder Mike Pickets, says: “We’re so excited to be offering a truly unique festival that parents, carers and even grandparents can enjoy alongside their little loved ones.  As a dad, I know what it’s like to have to choose between something entertaining for the kids or something enjoyable for me when planning a day out, but with the Raver Tots Outdoor Festival there’s really something for everyone.”

Raver Tots say they are committed to supporting charities that help children with Autism and ADHD, such as the National Autistic Society, and a percentage of the festival profits will be donated to them.
