Essex Baby Review
Vitabiotics recently sent Essex Baby some Pregnancy Max Vitamins and Pregnacare Stretch Cream for our product review team to try out. We passed them over to Emma Holbrook, a pregnant member of our review team, who tried them out and has written a review. Take a read and see what she thinks!
Pregnacare® Max offers the ultimate formula in the range for mums-to-be who want the maximum nutritional support from Pregnacare. This advanced formula helps to safeguard a pregnant mum’s daily intake of important nutrients. The dual pack provides 400µg (0.4mg) folic acid, incorporating the special, readily bioavailable form L- Methylfolate, together with other essential vitamins and minerals, including 10µg vitamin D and 500mg Calcium. The pack also contains a 300mg Omega-3 DHA capsule for normal foetal brain and eye development**.
Pregnacare® Stretch Cream is a gentle massage cream, specially formulated to care for stretching skin during pregnancy.
Why do you want to recommend this product?
Firstly I’d like to concentrate on the Stretch Cream. I have so much love for this product! Because it is relatively new on the market I wouldn’t have automatically picked it up on the shop shelf as there are so many well-known products on the market, however this cream really does distinguish itself from the rest. It is easy to apply, doesn’t get everywhere like some of the oils can and a little goes a very long way. Having used it twice daily for 14 days I genuinely can feel my tummy is softer and more supple which can only help with stretching skin. I started using this product at 26 weeks pregnant so just before I got too big. I had already started to get a little bit of itching as my skin was expanding, but since using the cream this has completely stopped! The best thing about the cream is that you can apply it and literally get dressed within two minutes as it soaks straight in, unlike most of the other products on the market. I would be more than happy to recommend this product to family and friends, its real value for money and works!
The vitamins are slightly harder to review. I substituted my ordinary vitamins for the Pregnacare® Max to see if I could notice a difference. Whilst I’m in the third trimester I didn’t know what to expect and how much I would see but I actually feel less tired, my skin seems to be clearer and I’m not suffering from as many spots; something I only seem to get when pregnant! Also I did some research on the ingredients included in the product and really felt like I was doing the best I could for my baby by taking them. All the essential vitamins recommended to you by health professionals are included and whilst I like to get as much from my food, it’s great knowing that these vitamins are toping up my supply and keeping me healthy in the background. The only downside is that the Pregnacare® Max tablets are the most expensive in the range however they do have lots of alternatives at a lower price range which I think is great!
Essex Baby Rating:
I give this product 5 out of 5. The product range caters for all needs and wallets, and the vitamin’s give you everything you could possibly want and need to support your pregnancy. The cream is easy to use and keeps your skin supple and smooth – a must for all pregnant women!
