Essex County Council owns seven country parks, a visitor farm and a heritage site, which are located throughout the county. The council manages the sites for the benefit of the residents of the county, providing access to a range of open spaces, woodland trails and historic parklands. The country parks also include a range of environments for rare and important plants and animals. Essex County Council ensures that the country parks protect and encourage these environments.

This summer is an exciting one for Essex Country Parks with 40 days of summer to look forward to.
