A dildo-shaped Play-Doh tool has led to a few giggles and a series of complaints from shocked parents.

The ‘frosting extruder,’ which is part of the Play-Doh ‘Sweet Shoppe Playset,’ caused controversy after some owners of the set noticed that it was distinctively phallus-shaped.

While some outraged parents have expressed their disgust on social media sites, others have taken a more relaxed attitude to the product’s design.

One user commented, “Seriously, if your children are an age that plays with this product, and knows what an adult toy looks like. I think you have a bigger issue than blaming play doh for manufacturing what your dirty minds see. Get a grip people!”

Although concerns where initial raised back in November, Hasbro recently issued this statement on their Facebook page: “We have heard some consumer feedback about the extruder tool in the Play-Doh Cake Mountain playset and are in the process of updating all future Play-Doh products with a different tool. Should any consumer want a replacement extruder for this item, they can contact Hasbro’s Customer Service Department at 800-327-8264.”
