For many women, new motherhood signals a period of no sleep, baggy clothes and ginormous hammock-like bras. Most nursing mums resign themselves to weeks and months of feeling frumpy – whether they like it or not. But times are changing.

“Queen of Burlesque” Dita Von Teese has paired up with retailer Destination Maternity to produce a limited addition maternity lingerie collection called Von Follies.

The seven-piece capsule collection includes lacy nursing-enabled bras, both with and without underwire, and high-waist pants with built-in control panels.

In a release by the retailer, Von Teese said: “I believe that lingerie can and should be glamorous and functional. Elegant underpinnings are a simple way to create everyday moments of luxury and beauty, and why wouldn’t a new mother enjoy beautiful lingerie, too?”
