The Haven House Summer Fair is back for another outing in Woodford Green this July!

The annual fair is one of the children’s hospice’s biggest events of the year, attracting around 1200 visitors from the local area.

Returning with a fun circus-themed twist, the event will once again take place in the grounds of Haven House Children’s Hospice on Sunday, July 2 2017.

The organisers promising that the Summer Fair will be better than ever, and you can expect lots of family-friendly activities and entertainment throughout the day.

What’s on

Children will have the opportunity to take part in the circus skills workshops, but make sure you book early as places are limited. There will be plenty of other fun things to do as well, including fun inflatables, trampolines, and a pirate ship themed playground.

Kids will also be invited to play games and win tokens which can be traded in at the prize zone.

While the little ones are having a blast, adults will be kept busy with a variety of live music, performances and selling stalls. A selection of tasty food and alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be available to purchase, too.

One of this year’s star attractions is Jailhouse Blues Brothers, a Blues Brothers tribute band. Get ready for some soul classics that’ll have you snapping your fingers and swaying to the beat.

Don’t miss the performance from Dance 21, a dance group for children and young people with Down Syndrome and their siblings in the Essex area. They’ll be strutting their stuff at 12.30pm to show everyone a more positive image of disability.

Entry is a suggested donation of £2 and children under 3 years go free.
