Here is the third in a series of family friendly recipes, brought to you in association with Menu4mums.
- 3-4 pork steaks
- 2 tbsp plain flour
- 1 egg, beaten
- 10 tbsp breadcrumbs
- 50g butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 5-6 potatoes, peeled
- Broccoli, in florets.
- Put the meat between cling film and beat it with a rolling pin until flatter. Season, then dip in the flour, beaten egg and the breadcrumbs.
- Then cut the potatoes into large chunks and boil for 15-20 mins. Drain and toss in 25g of the butter.
- While the potatoes are cooking, fry the meat in the butter and oil gently for 5 minutes on each side until cooked and golden brown.
- Meanwhile, put the broccoli on to steam for 5-6 minutes.
