A two-year-old boy has landed his parents in hot water after painting a brand new Porsche in Nanjing, China.
The car’s owner, Mr Wu, said he bought the Porsche for 1.45 million Yuan (almost £150,000) just a few days earlier.
After leaving the car parked in Nanjing, capital of eastern China’s Jiangsu Province, Mr Wu was mortified when he returned to find the youngster decorating it with green paint. The tot had been left to amuse himself whilst his parents worked nearby.
Mr Wu says: “I dashed over to check and found the kid had painted the whole vehicle into a mess.”
Wu was told by a repair shop that it would cost approximately 80,000 Yuan to repaint the Porsche – and this will not be covered by his insurance.
Wu says he is now negotiating the cost of the repairs with the child’s parents.
