Visually impaired baby sees her mum for the first time

A short video clip that captures the moment a visually impaired baby sees her mum for the first time has gone viral.

Baby Louise has the congenital disorder Albinism, which affects the pigmentation in the skin, eyes and hair.

The condition can also affect sight, which means that Louise has never been able to see her mother clearly.

In the clip, Louise’s mum places the glasses carefully on the little girl’s head before standing back and talking to her daughter.

Louise soon matches her mother’s face to the sound of her voice and gives her a beaming smile in response.
