Essex Baby Review
The Wonderoos V3 are a highly adjustable pocket-style nappy that promise to last from birth to potty. Could the Wonderoos be our wonder-nappy?
Wonderoos are the original one-size pocket nappy, designed to fit babies from birth to potty training. The Wonderoos V3 nappies have a fully updated colour range in both supersoft PUL and cuddly minky outers, plus a popular three-stage microterry/bamboo insert.
To start with I love the array of colours they come in, dirty nappies are never a chore anymore! The nappies have been very user friendly. They use a fantastic popper system to adjust the size, so both my husband and I have found them very easy to get use. I like the fact that they accommodate from newborns to toddlers so they are a good investment.
The nappies are quite bulky, but that doesn’t seem to affect my little one at all and on the flip side of that they are very absorbent. They have even lasted the night on a few occasions. My baby is a fairly average wetter, so I can’t comment on how they would be if you had a heavy wetter. However, glancing at some other reviews it seems even heavy wetting babies are able to last a good 5 to 7 hours.
I dry my washing on a clothes airer in a fairly warm room and the nappies take approximately 4 to 8 hours to dry depending on how much I have had the heating on that day. The material on the inside of the nappy is super soft so changing has never become an issue for us – I think our little one quite enjoys the feeling of his fresh clean Wonderoo!
My baby is quite sturdy so the nappies fit very well. The only thing I could imagine being a problem is if your baby had skinny legs as the elastic can ruffle quite a lot around the legs when adjusted to the smallest size.
The material on the inside of the nappy is super soft so changing has never become an issue for us – I think our little one quite enjoys the feeling of his fresh clean Wonderoo!
Wonderoos V3 retail at anything between £12 and £15 per nappy, which I think is really good value for money considering they are a birth to potty nappy. Therefore, Essex Baby rates this product a big 5 out of 5.
